Wrap Around Care

Our school recognises that availability of wrap around care is important for all of our working parents.

Here at Dalton St Mary’s care is available in the form of Breakfast Club, After School Club and alongside the 30 hour Government funded places for working parents parents who do not meet the criteria can request additional, paid Nursery places each afternoon (see below).

All wrap around care can be booked on a regular or casual basis, full information regarding bookings is available on ParentPay or from the School Office. If you are interested in securing any of our wrap around care please call in and speak with Mrs Irving in the School Office who will be happy to support you with this.

Policy and Procedures

The club is held in the school hall and is available from 7.30 – 8.45, Monday to Friday during term time.

Sessions are available to book for the following periods of time and are charged at a variable rate:

3:15 to 4:30 – £3.50
3:15 to 5:30 – £5.50

We are strict on timings, according to the school clock to avoid embarrassment on either side.  This means, for example, if you collect your child at 4:35 or 4:40 you will be charged the fee up to 5:00pm

Additional Nursery Sessions

Dalton St Mary’s is able to offer 30 hour Government funded places in our Nursery for those parents who qualify for this provision.

Subject to availability, parents of children who have a 15 hour Government funded place in our Nursery (5 mornings or 5 afternoons) are able to request full days.

Children who attend full days can order a school lunch through Parentpay or bring a packed lunch from home. Nursery children are carefully supervised whilst eating their lunch in the main hall, 12:00 to 12:30, and then return to the Nursery building to begin their afternoon session.

Additional sessions are charged at £10.00 per session and are payable in advance or on the morning of attendance.
