Every school should have a designated Governor for Child Protection, this role is currently held by Mrs Corris; the newly appointed Governor for Safeguarding will undertake relevant training for this role
Staff in school are in a good position to keep a watchful eye on children and their safety and to protect them from harm. If staff have concerns they have a duty to inform the designated person for Child Protection
